Serenity

Fans of the games rejoice! This series has so much potential for high octane action. That being said, however the first episode fell kinda short for me. Seemingly taking place after the events of DMC3, the series follows Dante as he completes his various jobs that he’s (usually) tricked into taking. The first job he takes is to transport a high profile orphan to her former home to reclaim her fortune before her brothers take it all. Dante of course hates having to “babysit” for three days while traveling. However, throughout the trip multiple demons attack the girl for seemingly no reason. All the action culminates into a big shootout at the end with a large demon, followed by a strange twist. The animation is very impressive in this! It was hard to believe I wasn’t watching a movie. Definately looking forward to the series being continued…
