Blue Dragon eps. 1-6

Based on the upcoming XBOX 360 game, Blue Dragon is looking to capitalize on the fact that it was designed by Akira Toriyama. Not that thats a bad thing! His art style is always fun to see animated, and this is no different. The show oddly seams to be aimed at a much younger audience than what the game does.
The first 6 episodes are basically telling the origins of the group as they come together to travel. The story revolves around Shu a young boy who aspires to be a hero. He soon gets his wish when he runs into some strangers in his village, who have unusual skills. Soon there after his village is attacked by the forces of Nene, a powerful sorcerer after world domination. Helping him to defeat the soldiers are the two strangers he met before, Zola and Jiro. Afterward the journey begins as the three, plus Shu’s friend Kluke set out to stop Nene. Then they meet up with MuroMaro, a young villager from a tribe of demon people, who has the same powers as the party does, he’s also a pervert, always trying to look at panties and such. And finally is Boquet, a young waitress who also has the same shadow powers, but is incredibly clumsy! She’s also from a family who has the ability to become invisible.
As I said before, the animation is well done. The only complaint about it is that whenever they summon their shadows, its the same animation every time. Its also fun to watch. I haven’t seen this type of anime in a long time that really came off as an adventure. Its starting off small now, but I have the feeling this will become a fairly good adventure to watch over again.
No commentsHigurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai episode 5

Series: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
Episode: 5
Rating 9.1/10
Thoughts
Well i definatly was taken by suprise at the events in which occured in this episode, the arc explains alot about satoko and rika, the death of rika, but ofcourse Rika stands strong and accepts her death
Yet, the ending was extremely confusing and making me wonder what will be next in store for this series, due to the fact that everyone died of random diseases/shocks/heart failures and 20 people were confirmed missing, but yet Satoko saw them at the school
Definatly an interesting episode
